Thursday, May 24th, 2007. While working in Chelsea, we noticed a building a few blocks up was on fire. So we ran upstairs and I shot this with my isight. Forgive the un-steadicam.

  • @bandguyjr9999 - Really?

  • lol at 0:39 why would you want to be a fireman and have to go put that out .........because you get alot of ladies

  • @dhstrombone2 Steal beamsdo not really catch fire. They melt when exposed to high heat. The melting point for standard structual steel is around 2000 degrees. Fireproofing is only teasted for temps. around 1004 degrees. So any extended exposure at a heat higher than 1004 degrees will melt the steal and likely cause some sort of collapse.

  • @sledneckzl600 Just went through the same smoke reading class by Dave Dodson as well. VERY informative. Greetings from Wisconsin FF's friend
