7 nonviolent protesters arrested at D&L Energy Injection Site

On November 30th, a small, nonviolent group blocked an access gate to an injection well owned by D&L Energy, preventing toxic wastewater from being injected into the well.
This protest came in response to the first 7 earthquakes ever to be recorded with epicenters at the valley. These earthquakes have all come since the injection site opened.
While this arrest took place, the first natural gas and hydro-fracturing industry conference in the state of Ohio was taking place in the city. Outside the conference, hundreds of citizens gathered to protest.

Your facts are incorrect. The protestors were arrested at D&L Energy. V&M does not own an injection well.

Wavy Gravy said it is better to have a large group get arrested because you get put in a better jail. Seven is a good number, but twenty or thirty would have been better. There is also less chance for police beatings and serious charges on bigger groups. Keep up the good work!

It was to see the brave activists here. Really disturbing behavior by the truck driver, very lucky that no one was hurt. Ban fracking now!

Respect! Ban this everywhere, Don't let sell out NGO's dupe people! They can be as bad as the drilling corporations... Police, you do not have to arrest people protecting our environment, arrest the people harming us!!!

I admire your actions you've taken.
I would like to offer a suggestion to anyone who might be doing this type of action in the future. Try to have 2 people with cameras and/or video. and have 1 camera off to the side filming the drivers in the event they don't stop again. If they want to be an active part of the problem, let the world see their faces...

@VMStarOH when this video was made, I was under the impression that V&M Star owned the injection well. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do now to change the video so all i could do was fix the title and description.
