Hmm, you will either love it or hate it.... I was aiming for a 1950's film soundtrack sound, but I am not sure I got there. I love those little swooping alto parts in old films, it is suprisingly difficult to do! Backing is from the "with strings" by aebersold. It ought to come with a cheese knife :-)

Wow. I'm also a guitar player, I've been playing for years and am really advanced in it. I was recently thinking of picking up the sax (alto). Do you think any of you guys could let me know, when I'd maybe be able to start improvising/playing fluently (Jazz). I picked up the guitar quite quickly.

Just being able to play like the lovely gentleman in this video would be awesome, when did you start playing?

Are the muscles of an athlete TALENT?, no they grow from skillful use. the old saying 90% perspiration ,10 % inspiration, and I;d like to ad its FASCINATION with sound melodies and rhythm which drove me to play and experiment

This is wonderful! Even the "cracked" notes fit perfectly. This is a greatinterprentation of one of my favorite songs. If you put out any CD's, LET ME KNOW! Keep playing; you sound terrific!

What a nice find! I just happened on your site after listening to George Shearing. You remind me of Stan Getz. I hope you get a million hits over time. I will revisit this often and share with my family. Thanks!
