Three songs from the young Bluebells. Recorded on my video recorder at the time of broadcast. This appearance was way before 'Young At Heart' was released and captures the band at a time when they had been part of the Postcard record scene (Orange Juice, Aztec Camera and Josef K etc.) If the record label hadn't sadly been bankrupt 'Everybody's Somebody's Fool' would have been released on Postcard records in1981.

The 3 songs are:
Forevermore
Everybody's Somebody's Fool
Red Guitars

Play loud.

  • Great band. Saw them tons of times with this line-up and then later with Craig on lead guitar too before he joined The Smiths. Followed them about a bit across the country as well and they were great blokes. Great to see this footage. Thanks for posting

  • @Modmart a true fan. this video was just for you. Cheers.

  • @kolumbijcan glad you liked them. Cheers.

  • Smiling at the comment below. The Smiths' sound was heavily influenced by the Postcard bands, who came before them.

  • @Bikessmurf yep sure was.
