And its funny too, EVERYBODY at this point was thinking Flair vs Hogan at Mania. So, uhhh why didn't this happen? And how come they never wrestled each other on a PPV?

Should've been Jake Roberts as the #1 heel antagonizing hulk hogan and Hogan and Jake for the belt at WM 8. Flair wasn't a threat to Hogan by any means or seen as one.

Agreed with mooky9669, the real Ric Flair was the one in NWA/WCW, his WWF promos sounded very different, in fact he sounded even more calm than usual. NWA was his prime, his best promos and best matches. But scripted or not. he was even better than the almost whole roster back in the day in WWF. Another great star who Vince wanted to bury, but luckily Flair was smart and left quickly when he noticed that before happened
