Because in order to acquire a deeper level of knowledge and thinking on any subject you need to learn the basics and the fundamentals first. It's like saying "Why couldn't we just drive race cars at our driver's ed class, that would have been so much better!"

You need a solid basis of knowledge to start from so that the conversation can have the accuracy needed to explore the unknown questions and problems that we have in science.

I do agree though, debate is better than lecture.

so if we ever wanted to exist on another planet...say theres already life there..we would have to mix our dna with theres so it could exist in its own enviroment...if theres no life there but liquid water then send in the micro organisms..and let it evolve on its own..when some tweaks along the way.....sound familiar?

Ayumu remembers nine numbers and their positions in less than half a second. Personally, I can nearly find the first three numbers. I know most other people find the same. The chimp whoops us. We're its bitches in this activity.

The question is: Why so mad? So it's smarter than us. It's no reason to cry, dude. Chill out.

Tyson's chimpanzee point at 26:00, there are chimpanzees that can do things we can't. Like Ayumu (Lots of videos on Youtube: search Ayumu the chimpanzee)
