The video doesn't explain liberty.

I used to believe in liberty like everyone else.
Unfortunately, it assumes the theory of self (usually Ayn Rand) to be true. It isn't.
Humans are social, biological beings and are influenced by nature and society. It's important to realise that free will is an illusion for any philosophy to function.

if you argued about america on here, your a loser that needs to go outside, then move to canada

The "Philosophy of Liberty" to me is what America is about and what it was founded on. That people for the most part, I wish we were even freer but that we have "Maximize Freedom and Responsibility for the Individual". That people have the right to live their lives as they see fit. As long as their not hurting anyone else with their Freedom. And are responsible for the decisions that we make in life. And that were not to be over Regulated and over Taxed.

noyouaintgettingit: I told everyone I knew not to vote for Clinton. Something inside me told me he was bad news. I think the answer is to get someone that will respect the Constitution who will also run as a major candidate - not as a third party. Third parties will never win - they only help the bad guys win (like Clinton and Obama). We have had many years of Clinton because of people who voted for Ross Perot, a third party candidate. I wouldn't want something like that on my shoulders.
-
@FireThunderTV trust me, I didn't like Clinton, either. Nor did I like Bush. I don't like big government. I'm voting for the people that will bring back respect of the constitution.
Clint Eastwood is a Libertarian. Did you know that?
-
@FireThunderTV Libertarians aren't quitters, by the way. We're VERY stubborn.
-
@FireThunderTV Ross Perot didn't "help" Clinton win. He was blackmailed.

Nicely sums up the the philosophy of Libertarianism ...

This video is NOT about Ron Paul. Don't distract this issue by attacking some political candidate.
The video applies to YOU in YOUR every day life. Next time you go to renew your "driver license", give thought to who owns your right to travel. Do "They" have authority to take your money so you can travel? What about a "speeding ticket". Can YOU steal money from me because of my "velocity infraction"? No. Can you and a thousand others delegate that authority? No. So: By What Authority do They?
