Religion is just an other way to group people and lead them, makes them easier to lead. Nothing more and nothing less. Depending on how indoctrinated or stupid the people are they can be made to do anything, would you call a mechanism that at least makes such control easier a good thing? It would only be good for those smart enough to see through it and perhaps use it to control, but then they would be evil... how can that be if what they used was good.

I mentioned other religions just to demonstrate the fact that so many people find other religions evil--when none really are. Also, of course I know that all things in big doses are bad... Being an extremist is never a good thing and I never said it was.

True, you could say that about many other religions, but what does that have anything to do with islam being evil or not? We all agree that tolerance is good, but all things in big doses can be bad, so please try to temper your tolerance with actual informed thought.
