Stetson Kennedy- Free Lunge Video- 3 yr old Thoroughbred Colt FOR SALE in Ohio

Stetson Kennedy, or "Ken" is a 3 year old dark bay Thoroughbred colt standing at 16hh with a little room left to grow.

Ken is the sweetest horse in the barn. He completely defies all expectations of him- he doesn't act like a 3 year old, he doesn't act like a Thoroughbred, and he doesn't act like he is still a colt. His has been stalled right between two mares and he couldn't care less.

Ken has been ridden in a busy arena at all three gaits by a 9 year old girl! He rides out all over the farm on a loose rein and has been hauled out to trail ride with no issues. He has a very attractive, broad head, with a refined muzzle and soft eye. This solidly built boy looks like a Quarter Horse from all angles, but stand behind him and you will not believe the bulk on him! With a nice hip, strong topline, long sloping shoulder, and well set neck, this horse just screams hunter.

His legs are clean and he has great feet that don't need shoes. He is a pretty, flat kneed daisy cutter mover with long, slow legged gaits that will really make him stand out in the hunter ring.

Ken is Jockey Club registered, and was bred to race, but his connections never bothered bringing him to the track as he has no interest in going anywhere fast. That being said, he is not lazy- he's a simple, straightforward ride. He has been started over cross-rails and poles and never ceases to display good manners, rideability and athleticism.

Ken has no vices and should transition well into any field, but his build and style will make him a star as a hunter. Can be gelded on request.
