@chrisinmainz I much-preferred the NES versions of Double Dragon, Kid Niki: Radical Ninja and Ninja Gaiden to their arcade counterparts.

@amiga2000 I liked the fact that you could go into the store and purchase better weapons... also i prefer the nintendo sound efects. The graphics are clearly superior in the arcade but over all I like the nintendo version better.

HOW!?! The last boss, those three brothers, was impossible, I'd kill the two on either side, but that middle one was unkillable. I never managed to do it :(

this is one of the few instances where i thought a nes game was better than the arcade, bionic comando would be another one...

@chrisinmainz Playing this on my arcade cab is definitely a good experience. Especially with the portrait screen aspect vs the landscape on the NES

@chrisinmainz I respectfully disagree! The NES version was like a skin change from Capcom Commando (not Commando). The arcade had more sprites and was superior in almost every way. When I bought the NES port, I could only dream/pretend that it was the arcade version.

On the mac, Snapz Pro. great for recording anything on the screen.
