Part 2 of driving my girlfriends 97 Cavalier home with a blown engine. RPM's never exceeded 3,000rpms although it sounds like I was at 7,000 at times!

I had an 84 Cavalier with a 2.0 that wiped a rod bearing. That was with regular oil and filter changes. I suppose I could have fixed it but the whole car was becoming a piece of sh#t.
