Hi Rock Fans!
Today I'm excited to talk to you about a new band that's about ready to explode onto the scene - Eye Empire.
Eye Empire is a quartet made up of former members of: Dark New Day, Switched, Submersed, and Black Label Society including Corey Lowery on bass (Stuck Mojo/Stereomud/Dark New Day) , B.C. Kochmit on lead guitars (Switched/Dark New Day), Donald Carpenter on lead vocals(Submersed) and Will Hunt playing drums (Dark New Day, Black Label Society) and these guys are absolutely bad-ass!
You can get this track on their demo CD found here (Morgan Rose actually recorded the drums on this album).

There are only 1000 copies available, so get 'em quick!
My latest cover, is Ignite from Eye Empire's new album, Moment of Impact and this tune has so much to get into. The groove and brooding feel of this track grabs hold of you from the first note and doesn't let go until the song finishes. The chorus is uniquely different -- both intense and uplifting at the same time.
There's a bad ass verse riff, and Corey's bass line is insane, it really drives the feel of the song and B.C.'s guitar solo! Epic!
Here's my version of this fantastic, new song. Like usual, I've tried to play it with as much respect for the band as I can, so I hope they and you guys like it.
The solo for this tune was the huge challenge for me because I've never ventured into the hammer-on/pull-off territory much before, but I think I was able to get pretty darn close. The other challenge was the chorus. There's two guitar parts going on there, or at least I think there is, and I had to pick and choose which parts to play when.
Lots of fun!
Good luck to Corey, B.C., Donald, and Will. Long live the Empire!

Damn man, why do you always steal my guitars to do covers?! Yeah I'm a little jealous of your gear. Okay, okay REALLY jealous of your gear. Keep it up bro. You are one of the few on youtube that nail covers head on.

@garynoon does the middle pickup sound the sane as the middle setting with two humbuckers ?

@3441Edward Not really. Sounds more like the neck pickup.
the tone knob is also a toggle. When you pull
it up, the middle pickup is activated.
