I'll be honest I did (and still do) ridicule YBIAW not because its a bad song or its corny or anything but I felt like NST was such a cool song when it came out that the record company, instead of promoting that, tried to capitalize on the sensitivity of YBIAW. Not only did they do that but as a result, before HT and Continuum he was pigenholed as the "sensitive guitar guy" and not all of his talents were exhibited.

I Love YBIAW. It's a great sexy song and the song that pretty much brought him to the limelight. I hate when people make fun of it.

i wish he would put out an album of him just talking about nothing for two hours with some acoustic guitar beneath. id pay 15 bucks for that ;)

That song might have 'bubble gum tongue' in its lyrics which people lampooned, but the rest of the lyrics are awesome. That song is sexy beyond belief ("Swim in a deep sea of blankets" being my fave lyric)

Shame on those who have ridiculed "Your body is a wonderland." It is a unique song, in that, it connects sex with love. In this world that we now live, thank goodness someone had the guts to do that. I don't know any other song that gives that message. It is and will stay a classic for a long long time, wait and see. Good for you John Mayer, never, ever be ashamed of it.

It would always bother me when he would go along and make fun of YBIAW. It's a great song, his song, there was/is no reason for him to be ashamed of it. I'm glad he doubled back. :-)
