Throughout the primary, the rhetoric stating that opposition to Obama is support for George Bush has been constantly resounded.  Party unification is simply a tactic used to crush opposition, and to ensure obedience.

Good point but. The bigger issue is, the Democrats would love to become the rich government dolling out paychecks to people at the price of heavy taxation. "Feed a man a fish, he eats for a day.
