On Day Three at the Intel Science Talent Search Hermain Khan of Staten Island, New
York shares his point-of-view of his fellow Intel STS finalists heading over to
the National Academies of Science where they'll present their research to the
general public. Along the way the finalists talk over how difficult the judging
was and what type of questions the judges asked them. Plus the finalists vote to
select one of their fellow finalists to give a speech at the Intel STS awards gala.
The Intel STS in Washington, D.C. is the oldest and most prestigious pre-college
science competition
where 40 of the smartest young scientists in the U.S. are competing for more than
half a million dollars in scholarships -- including the top prize of $100,000.
