  • Im actually a Canadian from Ont. But have lived in Tucson for 6 yrs. So I miss the changes and some snow. Thought about going to BC. Creston kind of pulls at my heart. Never been to BC but would like to try it. Little Hobby farm maybe.

    Thanks for the answer...

  • You need to go through in the summer and stop at Yahk so you can see the goats on the roof and have ice-cream at Two-Scoop Steve's!

  • @MsHannelore Creston lies in a beautiful mountainous valley and is one of the main fruit growing areas in B.C. We used to go there frequently. Canada in general is a beautiful place. Kootenay Lake is right there with lots of tourism yet many many places to go to be alone and enjoy nature. I'd live there in a heartbeat. AZ weather is a whole lot different than in Creston and you would definitely have to adjust. BC winters are scenic and beautiful where robust Canadians are at their best. :)

  • Whats it like living in Creston. Thinking of moving there from Tucson,az.

  • are you putting the summer version on next? i await with eager anticipation.

  • Its about 25,000 now, with a metropolitan population of over 29,000. Cranbrook has an International Airport now called the Canadian Rockies International Airport with flights to Salt Lake City and maybe soon to be Atlanta on Delta Air Lines(Largest Airline in the World).

  • it's about 25,000 now, with a metropolitan population of about 30,000

  • someones bored ....but yeah I kinda miss cranny too

  • I used to live at the Cranbrook back in the 70's. Haven't been in Cranbrook for about 30 years. I keep telling my wife that we should go for a visit sometime. One of the first jobs I tried to get was to pick fruit in Creston but got there too late. Had a lot of bittersweet times in Cranbrook. I remember the torchlight parade at Northstar in Kimberley, wow it was cool back then. Back then Cranbrook had about 15,000, I wonder what it is now. Nice video, thanks for posting & good music. :)
