Here are officers from Aviation Preflight Indoctrination Class 40-09 in the "helo dunker" at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, which allows individuals to practice ditching procedures in the event an aircraft crashes into water and capsizes. This evolution is completed 3 times, the last time with blacked-out ("blindfolded") goggles

  • Oh yes, I did notice--especially when it was my turn to do it!! :-P

  • Looks like they upgraded the dunker. Got kicked in the head during the blackout evolution.

  • You're crazy, that doesn't seem easy at all. Being rolled would mess up your coordination so much. I would drown :p

  • that seems waay easy...i'm sure it's not though...looks like y'all paid close attention during training!
