@rollinfever15 Well thats good, cant really go wrong with meinl there a respectable company, kinda prefer Sabian myself but meinl makes good stuff, happy drumming man, and dont be afraid to flip that china bell up and do some jazzy riding haha
-
@JackMehoff845 I ended up buying the Menil Byzance brillant 16" china actually and i <3 it
-
@rollinfever15 There we go, now was that so hard? Haha just kidding, but i do know what you mean, when you watch a video of a china and you wanna hear it slammed smashed and banged....no pun intended but if your still looking for chinas go for the 19 inch sabian vault holy china, better known as the one in this video, its a beautiful monster of a cymbal, i promise you wont be disappointed and if you are, ill let you kick my ass haha have a good day of drumming
-
@JackMehoff845 Allright I apologize, when I was looking up china cymbals to buy that day 8 months ago, every friggen video I saw some guy wouldn't even hit the china without playing some jazz ride pattern. Because I dont conventionally play a jazz ride or whatever ride pattern on my china It pissed me off that I couldn't find one video with the representation of the china cymbal that i wanted; like with the china cymbal just being hit on accents not ride patterns.
-
@rollinfever15 umm chinas were originally used as alternate rides in jazz music, before insulting someone knowing what your talking about usually helps.......idiot
-
Why would you position cymbals in a way that causes them to collide? Like, it can't be good for the cymbal(s).

@rollinfever15 actually... Dizzy Gillespie used to always have his drummers ride on Chinas for comping during his solos... and so did a ton of other drummers back then and now.
