The last chord diminuendo to piano was way too much.

very nice thanks....I seem to recall this had a trippy album cover on DG

Bernstein on Elgar? HOW UNBELIEVABLY MAGNIFICENT! THANK YOU JESUS!

@tromboneroo4 Amen. I have never just sat at my computer and listened to a piece over and over again for 30 minutes until I found this. That's sayin' something
-
@bonestrumpet93, I did. I thought you knew that mark :P
-
@tromboneroo4 just make sure you hit the high note in our duet and it will be :P

I love this piece so much. I'm currently a high school student playing this on trombone and euphonium (long story on why I'm playing it on both). My favorite part without a doubt is the stringendo at about 2:07 minutes in. That is, in my opinion, coupled with the heavy brass at 3:56, the cornerstone of his greastest work. Truly spectacular.

Thanks for uploading this-i'd also love to see the BBC documentary about Bernstein conducting the BBCso orch in the piece- -there were some tensions apparently.
