  • great idea your own personal power plant at 2.688kw that would power my hose and then some. i just love the idea of being able to tell the power company to piss off!

  • the problem (and awesomeness) of these types of systems is that they are difficult to apply to a commercial level. The attraction is bigger on the DIY'ers... in which case they can make the system themselves, for cheaper, and learn some cool stuff along the way. Not that I'm complaining, im one of them :D

  • @davem12758

i totally agree with you on this one

they made it sound like the shed is going to solve the world energy crisis,

  • like some information on this ok?

  • lame,,,,,,,,,typical of a TV station acting like their talking to children all the time,,,,,,,

whats inside the shed? Whats the power spec? What kind of solar panels? is it grid tie or off grid?Is it expandalbe? how many batteries, and what kind? Nothing is proprietary with this stuff, and one doesn't need to be a phyisicist to understand how it works. Why dont you try really educating for a change.

  • Those turbines in Illinois dont turn half the time.
