yeah, but to be fair, no one in the technology industry can really make predictions/promises for the future, when technology is so rapidly changing, and has been for many years. You can't blame steve jobs for not being able to predict trends for the future eg. tablets, ipod with video, hardware inside a monitor...

Most are due to technical limitations at the time or expecting too much from the future.

The way he words it usually avoids directly contradicting himself even though he is. The iPod Video has to be the worst example as there was no explaination or major technical changes.

Lol I know this video was made before but Steve Jobs' favorite contradiction of mine is that he said tablets weren't the way to go and they wouldn't make one, and I'm siting here now with my iPad on the way lol.

technology marches on... He will no doubt make comments at the next unveiling that will contradict future announcements. He does this due to tech issues as well not wanting the industry to know what they are up to. Case in point, they said a tablet is not being made. Sounds like what he said about the video ipod. yet rumors (and they are rumors) are rampant that apple will be releasing a tablet very soon. They have to build an infrastructure around their products in order for them to survive.
