Come on how many people talk and email at the same time .I rather have unlimited data plan than the crappy 2gig limit.Huh who cares I am in japan anyways were 5 years ahead on cell phone technology tell me when you could pay for stuff with your cell phone in the US.

The interesting thing is that for the first time, Apple feels nervous about another smart phone. Competition is great. More choices for the end user.

Apple is not saying the whole true.

You can do this with a DROID on Verizon....using EVDO-RevA multiple RLP flows feature with VOID best effort.

If this is the only defense they've got...they are in trouble.

iPhone is a good product...not a good mobile...but a good multimedia devices. But this marketing lies are just creating more confusion among the consumers.

Just be aware that what Apple is saying is not true from a air interface and standard point of view. Questions?

Can you phone and your network do that?

Here is the botton line:

iPhon on AT&T: yes...as long as you have good 3G Coverage. If not...you cannot do it.

DROID on Verizon: yes, using Multiple RLP (Radio Link Protocols) flows feature. For example, using GoogleVoice to make VOIP calls with best effort and having a second flow for a browser data session and surf the internet.

I hope this clarifies the confusion this new Apple add is creating among consumers.
