  • I couldn´t agree more. What we can see here is an orchestra on top form and a great conductor in the best tradition of Serge Koussevitzky and Evgeny Mravinsky. As for Mr. Rainer Küchl violin solos, I think that Erich Gruenberg was unsurpassed in his days, especially when conducted by Leopold Stokowsky.

  • Kuchl is a marvelous concertmaster and musician, but somehow I don't particularly care for his style of playing....

  • In my opinion this is the best rendition of Scheherazade on Youtube .

  • simply amazing, the next question is, where can I get the piece
