  • Does your technique also work with boards that are 6 foot or longer?

  • @pauleohl Yes, but longer boards should have infeed (just holding it up level is fine) and outfeed support. The outfeed support doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a roller stand will do.

    Snipe happens when there is stock under only one of the infeed ot outfeed rollers. Having stock under both at all times during the operation completely fixes the problem.
