Moar DAKKA!

@imnotyourfather this system, in facts, works like a giant shotgun
-
@jingitzu It's ammo is not NATO-compatible (or with anybody else, for that matter), hence limiting its popularity. They should have chosen 20x102mm, 20x139mm, or at least the non-standard but still popular 20x110mm, if they were expecting commercial success.

Nowadays, the Spanish Navy is the sixth, you would know the word ARMADA for some reason. Its true that the Meroka is not as known as other CIWS, thats only because it hasnt been as imported as other types, or hasnt been as named. It is great, but as gvp6 said, it has problems with spares and disponility

Meroka CIWS. How this system compare Goalkeeper CIWS. NO INFORMATION AND NO PICTURE Wikipedia. Detail RARE AND UNKNOWN Wikipedia. NOT Popular In YOUTUBE.

this was one of the first modern CIWS ever designed, and it's very capable even today. It's not a rotary weapon, more like a "giant shotgun" like somebody said above, but doesn't mean that is's outdated.

sucks^^
