Cat playing the harp

This movie shows my persian cat Bagheera playing the harp. He does it quite often and seems to enjoy it (or the attention he gets when playing). It sounds as if he is trying to play a song.

No, as you may hear. But I cut his nails regularly and the strings were old anyway.

can't believe you let your cat near that beautiful instrument, but man it's neat to watch him try to play it! Just curious if those are gut strings or nylon?

They are gut strings. It is an old harp that had to be repaired at the time; the tension on the strings is not full as you can hear.
