@mkuroglu Food cars? Would that be the Ford Pinto-Bean?

manual vs automatic

@arion45: Oh dont worry they have. Road and track has already tested the new Gt500. There is no video of it yet though. You have to buy their magazine. But anyway, but anyway, the new GT500 has more downforce than the old one, it also has launch control and a legit tested top speed of 202 mph.

@mcfakalot Kudos to Ford for making food cars again!! (Coming from a Corvette owner too)

@mcfakalot OK, Ford didn’t file bankruptcy or get bailed out by Uncle Sam, but didn’t it receive $5.9 billion in low-cost government loans in 2009 to overhaul its factories and bring out more fuel-efficient technology? What would have happened to Ford if Congress hadn’t authorized taxpayer money to fund that $25 billion Energy Department program during a moment of crisis for the industry? suck it

The CTS driver wasn't shifting with a manual. Now days, paddle shifters with similar power and average drivers will be a little faster... but by .01 sec or 1 min, a win's a win... i'd still take the GT500. That Caddy's got too much booty, the sedan and wagon look good though

The shelby NEEDS tires like my BULLITT 315/18/40.Then we have the cts (nice car) .HELLO FORD WE NEED TIRES not some skinny miny on the back.
-
Hahaha cts beats all
It even beats the Ferrari California.

I sure hope they fix the traction problems for 2013 in the gt500. 650 hp is not going to help things much. Motor trend had the mustang gt at 4.4 sec and 12.8.

I'm a Ford guy all the way but will be the first one to admit that the CTS-V is one bad ass ride!
Was that Bill Gates diving the mustang? Lol

im not a ford or gm fan, but the transmittion made all the difference in this race. as soon as the ford driver shifted to 2nd, the caddy driver pulled ahead cus he was using paddle shifters(automatic tranny)
