this is a song what me and my friend drew cosner recorded in the ongakukan studio in a basement in ikebukuro, tokyo, japan. the song is called "i used to be fat; now i'm just a slob." this was a band me and drew formed to get away from the hectic schedule of large prime numbers. the band was called "the fly-by-night operation." we had a theme song about liquor licenses.
anyway, bass / vocals is drew cosner, and drum / vocals is tim rogers. (that's me.) the song kind of sucks, and if that's the case, it's probably the drums' fault. either way, i like the tune of the snare. see what you see, hear what you think.
i'm only uploading this because for some reason it was on this memory stick i came across yesterday, and it amused me.
. . . this was my first time ever playing the drums in a studio.
sounds good fellas. keep practicing and maybe one day you'll get your own tv show.

This to me is what you get when you throw The White Stripes in a blender with retro Rock Man music from his Famicom days. It's got a good deep sounding groove, minimalist beat and reminds me of the Stones in their early days.

Tim Rogers has become so highly evolved that there's no difference between irony and earnestness anymore. And he's taking the world with him, will or no.
