APICHA, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1989 in response to the AIDS epidemic in New York City. The mission of APICHA is to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and related discrimination, to prevent the spread of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Asian & Pacific Islander communities, and to provide care and treatment for Asian & Pacific Islanders living with HIV/AIDS and their families. APICHA now also offers affordable, quality primary care for the LGBTQ Asian/Pacific Islander (API) community.

EquAsian is a program for and lead by young GBTQ and questioning API men and their allies. We provide a safe space to hang out and talk about anything and everything -- from sexual health to politics to make-up tips!

This ad was created by APICHA to be featured at the Angelika Film Center (18 West Houston St. @ Mercer St, NYC) before the trailers on each of their screens for every showing until December 10th. (Thank you, Angelika!)
