@mjworks247 Blocks wont work cause the durango axle sits over the leaf. It will actually lower it.

@pjwallington yeah actually i can give you all the details. i've literally been talking to someone else who wants to do the lift. its actually fairly simple and straight forward. i can give you a couple different things here. I'mm pm you most what i sent him. it'll just a be some light reading lol

@aaminjoshi91 Would you be able to give me details on what you did Step-By-Step, and where you bought the (2) Shackles ? and how much.. If its too much to ask, dont worry about it...lol..It would help me out though

@pjwallington I never really looked into them. and as far as the lift goes its not a hard install and the ride didn't stiffen up to much. it feels close to the same if not the same to me. but i have stock shocks from dodge when the truck was brand new lol so you know it was always stiff lol
@aaminjoshi91 I have a 2001 Dakota 4x4. So it's the same front end. Have you had any problems with the tortion bar lift? I know the blocks in the back are safe but I've heard otherwise about the tortion bar. have you had any issues?

@MrYamaha4life if you dont over crank the torsion bars (6-8 full turns aka 1.5-2 inches) then the ride doesnt stiffen up much and is still within safe limits. the torsion/shackle lift is probably the sturdiest lift you can put on a durango/dakota. its been just fine and i've done some light off roading and snow play with it so i'd say its good.

@aaminjoshi91 That's good to hear. I've been wanting to do this on my 99 Durango for a while now. I keep hearing mixed reviews. I see that most people on the Dodge forums have a T/S lift but I've asked a few of my friends and they don't think its a safe way to lift the truck.

@Lynaugh1028 honestly i've never heard a complaint about it. its still using stock components. its still using shackles and its still using torsion bars. no torsion keys or blocks or nothing. idk i've seen people off road with body lifts just fine to. i think youll love it man just do it.

Nice I got a 3.5 inch lift on mines, I'm trying to find out what size tires I can get that will fit I want offroad tires

@STREETRACEN4U nice with 3.5 inches of lift you can def fit 32's no problem and you could probably squeeze 33's with minor to no rub
