[READ ME]
"Burning Truth" is a short film entry for a contest that will be going underway shortly. If you really liked this film then please please please come back here on May 1st for a link to vote for it (that is, if it makes the top 15 cut). Huge shoutout to everyone that helped me out with this film, especially on such short notice, you guys did a fantastic job. This entire short film was scripted, casted, filmed and edited in 3 days, so great job to everyone.
Synopsis: An ex-employee by the name of Stern is knowledgable of various business crimes that his boss has commited, thus resulting in him being fired. In an attempt to break into the office to gather the needed evidence, he is caught at the last second. After being chased down, his boss, Lockney, confronts him. It is here that Stern is intimidated and taunted by being handed the needed photographic evidence at gunpoint, where it is then burned in his hands. What happens after the final line is up to the viewer to decide.
Extra Notes: Yes, the mask comes back on in one shot, I know, I didn't notice that until post, sorry. The car does move, due to the fact that we didn't get permission to use the parking garage, cars came by all the time, and it was just too much of a hassle to keep moving the car. Remember, the whole production of this was within a 3 day period. I know I shouldn't be using this as an excuse, but hey! Not everything can be perfect with that, plus all 3 days were school days, so that limited our time even more haha. Hope you enjoy :)
