Presenting a Marx Machine Gun battery operated toy. Made of plastic with a metal tripod. Motor made in Japan. Still has original box! The base on the U.S. Army's 50 cal. machine gun. I set the gun on to of the tripod. I did notice it was missing it's bolt to attach the tripod: a quick trip to the hardware store will fix. I put in two size D batteries. The toy gave off a loud rat-tat-tat sound and the barrel lit up and recoiled. Measures 29" inches in length.

Looking up my favorite toys from my childhood and this is one of them. I remember driving from Niles Ohio to Uniontown PA in the back of the Family Rambler station wagon with the machine gun sticking out the back window and shooting up all the truckers on the PA and Ohio turnpikes. They would fake being hit as my machine gun would take aim at them - it was definitely a different world back then. I am sure the same stunt would end up with me and my father in family counseling.

I had this when I was a kid! It got me sent out in a blizzard on Christmas morning with a windchill that must have been just slightly above liquid nitrogen. It's also the day I learned- When momma ain't happy, AIN'T NOBODY happy!
