Recorded on December 26, 2006. The video begins as we takeoff from the Boulder City, Nevada Airport and fly over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. We then land at the Grand Canyon Airport. We view the Grand Canyon from Bright Angel Trail before returning to the airplane. We then fly directly over the Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell before landing at Monument Valley, Utah. There are several nice views of Monument Valley on this bright and sunny winter day.

while on this flight, which window seat is best for viewing? Left or right? Yah know, just like coming into an airport, you wanna see a city or site coming. Philly you would want to be on teh right window to see stadiums and a great view of teh city.

Thank you for this video! My mother and I went out there a few years back and just loved Monument Valley. She is gone now and this was a nice memory. The North Window was my favorite.

Beautiful flight video over the canyon! I flew over by means of the EcoStar helicopter...went down closer to the various buttes and all, but your video memories here of Glen Canyon dam, Lake Powell and Monument Valley are gorgeous! My wife and I drove over the bridge at Glen Canyon and toured Mon. Valley on the ground, saw al the incredible rock formations that are shown here! Ate at Goulding's Trading Post facing the valley... what an incredible experience to see it all!
