  • Hi mavroudisv,

    Nmap automatically assumes the port is filtered if it doesn't receive a SYN-ACK or a RST. Using --reason you can tell nmap to explain why: in this case it says "no response". Essentially the port is completely invisible.

  • Hi! Nice demo. My question is why on 1:15 nmap shows the port as filtered? If I am not mistaken at this stage (before the SPA) the port should be completely invisible.
