i dunno... the live in melbourne version seemed emotionally raw and amazing...
what would be awesome is if silverchair performed the original album version with a live orchestra on the show "Live From Abbey Road" and you'd have the best version of the song... that or if daniel decided to do an unplugged version

This is a really GREAT performance and version of Emotion Sickness, but I must agree with the others who have commented it, the one in Sao Paulo 2003 i actually better.. :) just amazing!
I love Daniel and Silverchair! Old and new..! :)

I think they were just mesmerized by the band's performance. This is probably the first time they heard the "extended" version of this song. Imagine yourself hearing this version for the first time. It would completely blow your mind! The buildup after the bridge is brilliant! They should rerecord this song.

Mate, he went for that high note to make up the sound man shafting him earlier on. Try to enjoy and appreciate things, it makes life better. And at no point is the piano out of tune, get a grip, or failing that, some music lessons.
