Yes it's 2.0 DOHC neon cams because tue 2.0 has a bigger lop than 2.4 cams

@xxFairladyZxx Well some nissan engines, such as the sr20det have a timing chain. That may be what he was thinking of. As for the topic, I have driven the srt4, the 300zx, and the Evolution, and I enjoy them all. But yes, the VG30dett has been notorious for having problems, at least in the many around where I live. I knew someone who had more problems in a month out of one than I have had with my car in 4 years, and hell, I drive a DSM. But all engines lose reliability, once you modify ;)

@xxFairladyZxx Never claimed it was original but it's the truth. They chew through timing belts and oil lines like crazy. I have rebuilt 5 of those engines and they hairy suck balls. I would SERIOUSLY own a Honda before I every owned a car with the VG30DETT in it. And I loathe Honda's so that's saying something. Oh and I wouldn't be caught dead in a Neon either, I drive a now 10 second 03 WRX :D. And in the 2 years since my motor swap I have had ZERO down time. Subaru FTW everytime.

And You obv know nothing about Nissans, or Zs for that matter, they dont have timing chains idiot, and the belt doesnt snap every 30k retard--and by "dismantle" the top of the engine, you mean take off the plenum?--if the VG30DETT is such a garbage motor why was it named to the ten best every year it was made? And why was it faster than the RX-7, Corvette, 3000gt, and the 986 Porsche? dummy, step ur game up u neon driving douche
