Harvard University in the U.S. is returning a set of precious church bells to Russia - decades after they were sold for scrap by the Soviet Union. In exchange, a group of Harvard students were given the chance to visit Moscow to learn the unique art of Russian bell music.

  • hahah the russian guy saying those student can't understand the beauty of bell ringing...the girl obviously wasn't getting it

  • For a good item on bell ringing go to caldicot-benefice then bells page then to their links.

  • Right, the bell was housed atop the Business School library. I shallowly enjoyed the free food and drink at that bell ceremony, but it does mark a somewhat significant cultural exchange.

  • At 1:19 that's not Lowell House. That's a building at the Harvard Business School, where one of the bells was because it somehow was considered not part of the set.

  • nice
