When many younger and older swimmers come off a flip turn, they're sometimes dioriented and push off incorrectly. ; In order to learn a great line, and stable exit from a flip, here's a good sequence to help.

  • @MarineKingPride - Cool. Do what works best for you. And... not all distance swimmers do what you're saying either. Not all anybody does anything the same way. You need to pick and choose the drills that work for you individually, or as a coach, understand enough variations so you have more than one option to teach your swimmers. It's what works best for each swimmer in each situation. Go get 'em.

  • Distance swimmers don't do that. they push off nearly on their side, with some angle. 1500m race, they do one or either don't do dolphin kicks after wall. Is the sprinter's flip turn differ from distance swimmer's flip turn? I actually saw a lot of distance swimmer just come out and breath the first stroke. For example the current world record holder for 1500m.

  • For many choices of underwater cams, go to our website and look under the "evals" tab. We have cams that range in price from a little to a lot, I mean we use various cams if we're doing the free stuff, or the pay stuff.
