That officer from the foot guards is too fat. There were no soldiers in the napoleonic wars that were overwieght. Those guys would march 15 to 20 miles a day during a campaign.

ah the green jacketed British Rifles. they are absolutely deadlty in a computer game called Napoleon Total War. Just keep them out of range firing away at the Old Guard and theyll make mincemeat of them.
The idea is to exploit the extra range so the enemy never has a chance to get off a single shot.
