  • if you buy terragen 2 with animation for 300$ does it allow you to make the motion paths? like make the camera weave between mountains and stuff?

  • @dartboardpicture2 I THINK so. From what I know, you can use keyframes, and the camera will automaticle move for you, and I bet they made it smart so it doesn't go through ground (by knowing altitudes). I believe you can make specific paths though, because I seen a snapshot on the Terragen website. You might want to ask them. Sorry I can't be of any help

  • nice tutorial dude. so far the best one on the youtube. I hate youtube because it is hard to see the text on the video. One question can you actually export/import to a different program like Maya or Zbrush?

  • lol Thanks, man, I should remake this, and actually BE prepared. lol

Maybe. As long as they are able to import .ter and .tgd files... that's all I know. I never used them before.

  • where is the 3th part?

  • Sorry about that. YouTube is not accepting it. But the third part is just lighting, which is very similar to Terragen 0.9. Try screwing around with the heading and elevation metres. That's the basics for that. And that's it.

  • 9:51 flying trees might be cool as well, lol.

  • so you cant animate the scene as in you cant animate the camera moving?

  • Loved the video. i cant wait for more, just make sure you try not to sound so nervous. its your video, take your time. we are hear to learn. if you dont like the way you said something, then scratch it and make another video.

overall it was a great tutorial.

  • I'd watch it if you make another one. So far I like this program and it seems easy to use once you get the hang of it. I just can't figure out how to make a coast line for a beach and heard you can also paint your mountain.

  • lol "very pretty mountains"
