i got the lpd8... works great!! getting my lpk25 soon. i use ableton and it comes in handy A LOT!

Just got my LPD8 .... LOVE IT it really is built well much better than the korg.

I had a korg nano pad ..midi mapped with serato it didn't last long.. got another nano pad and that one didn't last either.... switched to Akai LPD8 ... had it for over a year still going perfectly ... best

I just got a BRAND NEW Korg Nanopad, and almost all the pads are dead. Maybe 3 or 4 work correctly, but they don't even feel good. I've made a huge mistake.

lpd8 is awesome. i love it. wish it had led feedback so it would be more useful for djing. which is what i use it for.

korg nano is built cheap.... akia is the way to go...

Love these controllers, durable products, way to go AKAI!!! It would be nice, since all these operate via USB, if the manufacturers would include some sort of USB hub technology in the controllers. Make it easier to daisy chain, etc... I'd pay an extra $10 for that feature... AND would be great to have 90 degree USB connector cables for optimizing desk space!
