I am appalled at your statement "you don't mature much after 18". Do you actually believe that? I am a psychologist and all so I have training everyone does not.....but really?
-
dang this is dead on, i experienced the same things before I loc'd. Good observations! :)

I just cut my locs and encountered the SAME thing!! And what is insane is how people act like black folks can't have a haircut. And on top of that I'm sick of folks acting like my hair wasn't cut short, they been acting like I can't grow my hair. How bogus is that!!!

WIFE OF THE BEAST IS REALLY UGLY AND A CRACK WHORE TOO!!!!!

I think that is crazy how ppl accept LOCS THAN AFRO HAIR.
-
your a very beautiful woman, u look like a model no joke:)
-
sexy ass eyes can i have them lol

Hah! I totally agree. Yes, locks are more acceptable than afro hair but not because locks are "the ultimate napp". Actually, many colors of people have locks but only African-blooded people have afros. I took my blonde-highlighted sisterlocks out and people begged me to not do it. Now with a curly 'fro people look at me like an alien. I had locks for 5 years and wanted a change. So, I cut them off. YOU are beautiful though and can wear anything.

MsLucsiousdd of course we will have more issues with our hair than white people do because they will always be more accepted in every aspect than us on every single plane/border or whatever facet you can think of. Us as a race or culture will always have to work harder in looking better, Education, etc,.

con't---I find that we brown people have more issues with our own skin and hair than do white people. In fact white people seem more accepting of my natural look than do some of my sistas and brothas. Good hair/bad hair, light vs. dark skin all social constructs that serve to keep the system going. Ridiculous!
