Eastern Food Safety offers the nationally recognized ServSafe® training program in a comprehensive 12 hour course of study. This course prepares the student to take a nationally accredited Food Manager Certification examination such as the ServSafe® exam. Passing this exam earns the title of "Certified Food Protection Manager," the certification required by many state and local health departments as mandated in their state food code. This course is current with the food safety and sanitation procedures outlined in the FDA 2009 Model Food Code for retail food establishments.
