Emergency Town Hall Addresses Hate Crimes on Campus

On November 21, 2011, an emergency town hall meeting was called to address the recent hate crimes that had occurred on the UC Davis campus. Students were troubled by these issues and questioned why police have classified the occurrences as "bias incidents" (which are not documented or further investigated) rather than "hate crimes". Action plans have been proposed to counteract these issues and will be executed in the near future.
