Anyways how the fuck would you know he never did drugs, you can read wathever you want on the internet. But you never knew him personaly so all of you are wrong. It's not like you followed him around when he was alone in his house! and saw he never did drugs... even if he said he didn't do it. You will never know!

wtf does it realy matter if he ever did drugs i mean come on he was a great song writer who left us 33 years ago just apreciate the music he is dead does it matter why unless u are in his imidate family get over it he wasnt your friend

He didn't do them to a level of an overdose. He was never addicted to any kind of a drug. Epilepsy and sadness killed him.

You can only go on available evidence there was nothing said about drug use in any of the books including the one written by his wife, in none of the documentaries or in the biopic Control. He did however take strong medications for his epilepsy, that would give him the appearance of intoxication and cause severe mood swings.
