The Original version was written by Min. David Allen and preformed by The Ambassadors for Christ. They are from Winston Salem NC. It was recorded a couple years before GMWA recorded it. David Allen was a member of the GMWA and taught it to GMWA Mass Choir.

@gospelmusiclover542 Galilee Baptist Church out of Houston recorded the song first in 1985. It's on the same album as "Jesus Is Mine" led by John P. Kee (also recorded prior to Florida Mass Choir) that another user uploaded from me. I have the album and will upload it when I can.

@musicgirl78 I'm not sure which choir did their's first. The GMWA did their's in August of 1986 in Miami. Galilee probably completed their version earlier that year.
