Yeah, cats usually don't give a fuck about anything.
You do something to them, and within 30 seconds i guarantee they'll just be sitting licking their paws and not giving a fuck, they'll probably not even remember what happened to them.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work for our cat. If we put tape on his paw he just sits down, rips it off with his teeth, spits it out, and continues on his way.
