Public School Holds Christian Rally to Convert Students

These kinds of people make me sick. They wouldn't dare go to a high school even, they have to get them while they're young. It's cowardly. You can't win an argument or win over an adult, so you break their minds and mold their future with lies and intolerance. The whole point of education is to ensure a better future, religion teaches the opposite. As soon as we move on from the past we can start working on the future, maybe fix our economy, government, and corrupt policies.

We need to get the principle of this school fired

This is repulsive. Truly repulsive

YOU SUCK!!!! THATS WHATS WRONG WITH THE WORLD TODAY!!!! People like you keep kids from being put on the right track. you`re the reason teens get arrested. your the reason that kids cant have a relationship with jesus because they think its right what you are doing. You cannot do this and keep children from a good life. I actually go to this school and was amazed with the income of people converting. I HATE THE WAY YOU TRY TO MANIPULATE US

@orangesurfblue Wal-Mart...Wow you really did miss my point. First off they are using a public facility paid for by tax dollars. I dont know if this was done on school time, but if it was, then that would be another strike. When I was talking about churches are everywhere, I am saying that you already have facilities to preach your Christianity. You have no need to preach in a tax paid facility.

@orangesurfblue I am going to go ahead and just PM you a reply, because I don't wish to deal with parsing a long message.

@ziggification, I'm sorry if you feel this way. I never intended to make a sweeping statement toward you or anyone else involved. I merely wanted to bring up a recent event that proved the one point I wanted to make. If I am to be judged based on the only thing I can bring to the table (my perspective) I might as well vary it and try to attack it from a different angle.
I think SOPA/PIPA is completely relevant. It proves that the government cannot be trusted to meddle in the affairs of citizens.
-
@ziggification, I apologize again. There was no need for it. I am honestly frustrated at everyone in this thread for blatantly ignoring logic and being completely rude and explicit with their comments (cough cough MyITRcom cough).
-
@ziggification, They are saying that God did not create the universe, and since it clearly states in the Bible that he did, either God is a liar, or he doesn't exist at all. Every single one of my teachers have openly admitted to being, not only Atheist, but also strictly Liberal, and support the unions that are protesting this.
-
@ziggification, And what do they teach in school, hmmm? That nothing created something. That is my point. Sorry if it sounds repetitive, but I seem to be the only active opponent to the ACLU on this page, and I don't remember how many times I've said the same thing because people never read my other comments thoroughly enough.
This is completely disgusting. I wonder how the Christians would feel if someone brought an imam to spread the word of Allah.

It's funny because, you would NEVER see an atheist rally in this style at a public school. And yet conservative Christians still claim to be the oppressed and persecuted minority.
