Everything can be corrupted by Chaos, but Orks are especially resistant to it, probably even more so than Tau. Orks generate their own psychic field, seperate from the Warp, that protects them from the corruption of Chaos.

In the end, Ghazkull stopped even trying to take it because it was no longer necessary to take it. The constant siege of Armageddon now serves MUCH BETTER purpose - to keep all the Imperial Forces in the entire sector occupied with just one planet, while he can savage dozens others with only a small army of boyz. ;)

@Yeeksquilack Orkz ARE immune for two reason:

1: Chaos gods see them as lesser beings an unintelligent tool, Orkz only serve the purpose helpful to them, as they technically fufill what chaos gods want; Change, not fearing death, enjoying war, and SLAUGHTHERING

2: Once a WAAAGH! is on the Orkz create a so massive hive-like psychic effect that even demons gods cant affect one of the, and Orkz do some kind of WAAAGH! most of the time, and they'd be useless to chaos gods when not

@dethcon5002 The orks ARE quite resilant. They can make head transplantations - and it will end just find. Taking a bolter in the forehead isn't that much of a worry for 'em.
