What he does on the piano from 1:39-2:30 is amazing!. Never heard him play like that before. WOW! Is it better then the album version? The album version is definately more structured but this version is freer. You make the call!

@stephystills I agree. It got me when he started to play faster and the melody also put an ooze into my soul. This early version is better than the one on the Conversation Peace album.

When I first heard it I got the impression Stevie was hinting about a gay/lesbian occurance. But the tune is so deep and the lines are so wicked ! That Conversation Peace CD is a MASTERPIECE! - Fc

As with most songs, it is how you interpret it. If you think it is about Gay love then it is. If you feel something different, then yeah it could be that too.

But like with everything, you should show reason for your question.

I personally thought he was talking about the power of love when used correctly and incorrectly.
